SUMMARY:Launch of the Alternative Material Certificate Framework
DESCRIPTION:Date & Time\nJul 9\, 2026 09:00 AM\n\n\n\nDescription\n\nPCX Solutions is launching the Alternative Material Certificate (AMC) framework – a financing mechanism designed to lower the unit cost of alternative materials by closing the price gap to fossil-based plastic. The alternative materials market is full of potential\, but why has it not reached the necessary scale? Alternative materials are struggling to compete with the unpriced environmental costs of fossil-based plastic. Levelling this playing field is key to accelerating the shift towards circular material alternatives. Join us for the Launch Event of the AMC Framework on 9 July 2026. We will introduce the AMC and discuss the role of alternative materials in addressing plastic pollution with Industry\, Research and Civil Society Experts.\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\n\nNanette Medved-Po \nFounder & Executive Chairperson at PCX and HOPE·PCX Solutions \n\n\nNanette Medved-Po is the founder and executive chair of PCX and HOPE Groups.
