Butterflies and Bees – Wildlife Walk with Climate Action North

Join Climate Action North as they host an event on Sunday 6th August to find the many butterflies and bees at home in Dalton Park with our friends the Natural History Society of Northumbria and Butterfly Conservation

In this event, we’ll take a look at and record the bees enjoying the many plants growing around the parkland at Dalton Park and will also be taking part in the Butterfly Conservation’s Big Butterfly Count, an annual citizen science campaign to help count and record butterflies in our areas. This will be an event ideal for everyone including families and anyone who wants to learn more about the many different bees and butterflies at Dalton Park and all are welcome – booking is essential to manage numbers on the walk.
