Lunch and Learn: Carbon Reduction Planning – NECC

On a national level, achieving net zero has arguably never been more important. At a local level, it is important that organisations begin to understand the role that they can play in the journey to net zero. This journey, although it may be complex and daunting, it begins with an understanding of how net zero affects you and your business.

In this Lunch and Learn, we will be joined by Tarun Sehgal from Auditel, who will be guiding us through ‘carbon reduction planning’, and what that means for you on a practical basis.

Auditel’s mission is “to help organisations become Verified Carbon Neutral in a measurable, meaningful and potentially self-funding way.”

Chamber Lunch & Learn series

Recent changes in the workplace has been profound. The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted beliefs, working practices and previously accepted norms. Some organisations have moved away from their core business and found strengths – and sales – in multiple and/or different sectors.

We understand that organisations are busy, but also eager to learn. We also understand that whilst companies grow and develop, taking time to develop policies, content or understand nuances of specific content can take time.

With that in mind, our ‘lunch and learn’ series is designed to cover a range of core business subjects and to provide guidance and support on core business topics such as HR, finance and legal.

The sessions will predominantly be delivered by SME members, for the benefit of our SME members. The presentations will be delivered by experts within the specific field.

Dress code: We don’t stipulate a dress code at our events, but we’d recommend you dress like you’re going to meet new clients. The most important this is that you’re comfortable.
