The UNFCCC Race To Zero https://unfccc.int/climate-action/race-to-zero-campaign) is a global campaign to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions, investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates decent jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth.
It mobilises a coalition of leading net zero initiatives, representing 471 cities, 23 regions, 1,675 businesses, 85 of the biggest investors, and 569 universities. These ‘real economy’ actors join 120 countries in the largest ever alliance committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 at the latest.
The Race to Zero is an umbrella campaign—driven by science—that aggregates net zero commitments from a range of leading networks and initiatives across the climate action community.
