SBS Nature Positive
A range of UK and international nature protection, creation and reforestation projects, enabling quality-assured and transparent nature investments for your business.
“Nature Positive is defined as limiting and reversing biodiversity loss, with a goal of actively increasing nature by 2030.”
The Framework
The first stage for organisations interested in nature investment is understanding your impact and carbon footprint. This follows the SBS Net-Zero Program and ISEP Greenhouse Gas Hierarchy.
We guide you through a structured process: Eliminate, Reduce, and Substitute before compensating via verified offsetting and nature restoration projects.

UK & GlobalVerified Partners
We partner with leading certification bodies and delivery organisations to provide verified, impactful nature investments. Every solution we offer is independently assured.
The world's most rigorous voluntary carbon standard. Gold Standard certified projects deliver verified emissions reductions and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, giving your investment maximum credibility.
The UK's voluntary standard for woodland creation projects. Carbon units are independently verified and registered on the UK Land Carbon Registry, providing full transparency on every tonne sequestered.
UK peatlands store more carbon than all of Britain's forests. The Peatland Carbon Code finances restoration of degraded peatland habitats, delivering carbon storage alongside exceptional biodiversity benefits.
Operating across 9 countries, Eden plants hundreds of millions of trees each year while providing fair employment to local communities. A transparent, high-impact partner for global tree planting investment.
On The Ground
Every investment you make through SBS is channelled into real, verified, monitored projects. Here are examples of the nature projects your investment supports.
Woodland Carbon Code
New native woodland across Yorkshire and Northumberland, planting oak, birch, and rowan to restore biodiversity corridors and sequester carbon for over 100 years.
Peatland Carbon Code
Restoring degraded upland peat bogs in the Yorkshire Dales. Peatlands hold more carbon than all UK forests combined. Restoration prevents release and rebuilds rare sphagnum habitats.
Eden Reforestation Projects
Large-scale mangrove and native forest restoration in critically deforested regions. Eden projects create fair-wage employment for local communities alongside measurable climate impact.
Gold Standard
Gold Standard verified renewable energy and clean cookstove projects across East Africa and South Asia. Each credit retired funds measurable emissions reductions and community health improvements.
Available Now
A range of verified nature investments for every scale of commitment, from individual trees to corporate woodlands and monthly employee climate plans.
UK native trees: each 4m² unit supports one young tree and the rich ecosystem around it.
The more units you add, the larger the habitat you help restore, from a single area to a growing pocket of woodland that supports more wildlife and strengthens landscapes for generations to come.
