Net Zero Matters – Greening Policies and Actions

Come and join us for our free Net Zero Matters event “Greening Policies and Actions” on Friday 26th May, 9.30 – 12.00.

This in-person event is a must for organisations and in particular SME’s and Social Enterprises who wish to explore greening their policies and increase business opportunities.

Featuring talks from leading organisations Climate Action North and Bloom Procurement, this event will focus on why understanding and knowing how to ‘green’ your business is important and will include advice and support on how to take the first steps towards Net Zero planning.

Climate Action North is an organisation actively delivering solutions-based approaches to address the climate crisis. In particular, they work with businesses through their Business Action Toolkit to help them develop ways to green their businesses, assess their resilience in the changing climate but most importantly to be more sustainable and start their Net Zero journey.

Bloom Procurement Services is a specialist organisation offering a dynamic supply chain providing the public sector with a marketplace to buy and manage services. They manage a number of tender supply frameworks as well as those providing services to the public sector. Bloom Procurement specialise in bringing together a community of buyers & suppliers to help the public sector buy professional services better.

This event is completely free to attend and will take place at the Climate Action headquarters at the North East BIC in Sunderland.
