Introduction to ESG Workshop
May 17, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
£20The world of ESG continues to develop at a rapid pace with ESG considerations increasingly influencing business operations.
This is the first in a three part series of workshops that will give you an introduction of what ESG is and how you can develop strategies to be a force for good.
You will hear from business leaders across different disciplines who will give their unique perspective on ESG and how to apply their areas of expertise into your own operations.
This is a practical interactive session, with the opportunity to network with other likeminded businesses and share good practice.
The nature of this workshop has been taken into account within the set up i.e: mid morning session to be more accessible and inclusive for people with caring responsibilities or chronic conditions. The event is close to public transport routes.
The organisers have agreed a 10% donation from ticket sales to Project Bind, a charity that set up the Magic Hat Cafe, where the event is being hosted.
A buffet brunch will be provided and is included in the cost of the ticket.
WITHIN THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL HEAR FROM:
Jack Spoor and Dan Adamson – Business Advisers, Robson Laidler
Jack and Dan will discuss how to get started on your ESG journey with a deeper dive into the ‘S’ of ESG with tips around the social elements of developing a sustainability strategy.
Lucy Bately – Founder / Owner, Traction Industries
Lucy will talk about her career in a candid and open warts n’ all style discussion with a particular emphasis on why she is passionate about diversity in terms of both people and ways of thinking.
Kathryn Rodgers – HR Consultant, face2faceHR
Kathryn is passionate about helping small businesses shape progressive, inclusive solutions for their teams and, when she’s not advising her clients, she also volunteers as a Helpline Advisor for Pregnant Then Screwed. Kathryn will be talking about practical, accessible ways to approach leadership and people management without the jargon.
