What is the purpose of NEST?

NEST is being established to showcase the North East as the Sustainable Technology capital of the UK.

We are looking for businesses based in the North East – or doing significant business in the region – who are either working in the Sustainable Technology sector, offering sustainable technology products/services or with a passion for improving their own sustainability credentials to join Aspire and our NEST founding members, Stellium Datacentres, Extreme Networks and Born Good.

Aspire has launched NEST, the North East Sustainable Technology consortium, to position the region as the UK’s leader in sustainable tech. From groundbreaking projects like the Dogger Bank wind farm to sustainable Lithium production in Weardale, the North East is leading the charge towards a greener future.

We’re inviting businesses in the region, or with a significant presence here, to join us in promoting sustainable technology and tackling climate change as an opportunity for economic growth.
