£275Yorkshire Sustainability Festival – Day One: Circular Economy Sustainable Business Services
join SBS and the team to network with peers and learn more about retrofitting and creating new sustainable infrastructure in our towns and cities is a crucial part of the journey to building (literally!) a sustainable future. To build the cities of the future requires a holistic and integrated approach to urban planning and development that considers the interconnectedness of environmental, social, and economic factors.
We’re pleased to be bringing back and expanding our Future Cities conference day for year 2, as we dig deeper into the conversation around the circular economy in construction, how we move from place to place, creating truly regenerative designs, adopting new forms of energy, using ‘waste’ materials, and of course, really importantly, who’s going to do these new jobs of the future, and how we’re going to train and upskill them!
Day two focuses on the themes of circular economy, covering:
- Transport
- Construction
- Energy
- Skills
- Water
- People and Place
- Housing
