Building Resilience Through Reuse

Supply Chain & Scope 3Net Zero & ClimateInnovation & Tech

About This Event

The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products is running a one-day conference on 4 November 2026 at the British Library Knowledge Centre in London. The event runs from 9.45am to 4.15pm and costs from £124.80. It builds on three previous Reuse Summits held between 2023 and 2025, and is aligned with ASBP's Reuse Now campaign. The format includes keynote talks, panel sessions, interactive workshops and post-event networking drinks at a local pub. Sponsors include Cleveland Steel & Tubes, McLaren, British Land and John F Hunt. The programme features a keynote from Georgia Elliott-Smith, sustainability leader, engineer and founder of Fighting Dirty. Two panel sessions will cover framing reuse for maximum engagement and collaboration across supply chains. Interactive workshops address material pathway auditing for the built environment, designing for reuse as a risk management strategy, and the business case for reuse. The event encourages delegates to bring a colleague from another discipline or part of the supply chain who would not normally attend a circular economy event. For UK SMEs and sustainability leads, the event offers practical insight into how reuse can reduce carbon and waste while improving supply-chain resilience. A recent industry survey cited at the event shows that by 2025, more than half of respondents said at least 50 per cent of projects required some reuse, up from 86 per cent reporting less than 20 per cent of projects requiring reuse in 2020.
