Roadmap to circularity in the built environment
About This Event
Zero Waste Scotland is running a free one-hour online webinar on 11 November 2026 from 12:30 to 13:30 UTC. The session is the first in a series linked to the Roadmap to Circularity in the Built Environment, published in June 2025, and will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. Attendees must register separately via a Microsoft Teams link to receive joining details.
The webinar will cover the vision and ambition behind the Roadmap, its connection to the Scottish Government's Circular Economy Strategy for Scotland, and why circularity matters for the sector's future. Speakers from the sector-led Mission Board responsible for delivering the Roadmap will discuss progress since publication, priority interventions, immediate next steps, and how organisations can contribute to delivery.
The session is relevant to UK SMEs in construction, property and sustainability because it sets out Scotland's long-term vision for reducing carbon emissions, increasing material reuse and minimising waste across the built environment. Understanding the Roadmap's priorities and how to engage with its delivery could inform business planning, supply chain decisions and collaboration opportunities in a sector moving towards circular practices.
