About this partnership

Eden Reforestation Projects is one of our longest-standing planting partners, working across multiple countries to restore degraded land through large-scale tree planting, including mangrove restoration, upland forest recovery, and agroforestry. Rather than a single site, funding through Eden supports an ongoing programme of active planting sites, with new locations added as Eden’s work expands.

Where we know which specific site a purchase has funded, we show that project individually below; otherwise, your investment supports Eden’s wider planting programme across all active sites.

Where the trees go

Eden plants across a number of active restoration sites at any given time, spanning coastal mangrove ecosystems and inland forest. Some of the specific sites we’re able to name and show are listed below, each with its own location, photos, and project detail. Others remain part of Eden’s general planting programme until site-level detail becomes available.

Employment and community

A core part of Eden’s model is local employment: planting and nursery work is carried out by community members in the areas being restored, providing income alongside the environmental benefit. This creates a direct link between restoration work and the economic stability of the communities involved, rather than relying on external planting crews.

Verification and reporting

Eden monitors planting sites over time, tracking survival rates and site health as forests establish.
